⟩ Tell me about a time when your performance let someone down. Why do you think that happened? What did you learn from that experience? What would you do differently now, knowing what you know?
This question is quite possibly the most revealing of all. First, you can determine how self-aware this candidate is. A self-aware employee has a clear perception of his strengths and weaknesses, as well as what motivates him. The reality is that nobody is perfect. If an interviewee can't think of any time he has missed the boat or messed things up, he's either hiding something, or he doesn't understand how what he does impacts others.
